Narratives

Coins paired with our market tokens.

A narrative is the attention around a coin. Its market determines the quote token used in its Exposure pair.

What is a narrative pair?

A narrative pair connects a coin to a market token. In the example floki / elon, FLOKI is the narrative coin and ELON is the quote token.

The parent market is elon / exposure. The narrative pair is listed in Narratives; its parent is listed in Markets.

Where the catalyst comes in

Narrative detection is intended to use signals such as serial developer deploys and a tweet tracker.

A serial developer signal means a monitored deployer has launched something new. “bwa” is the working example used in the project concept. A tweet signal means social activity has surfaced a possible narrative.

These describe discovery inputs. A catalyst tag is not a quality score, an endorsement or a guarantee that a coin will be launched.

Finding a narrative

Use the Narratives tab to search a coin or pair, filter by its parent market, and inspect the catalyst label. Your watchlist can contain market tokens and narrative coins together.

The current example is FLOKI / ELON. Other parent markets may have no example narratives yet; an empty state is intentional.
